 CHEESECAKE PAIRING AT EIKENDAL – Oct – April 2018

Zesty citrus flavours, followed by a rich berry delight and rounded off by a sultry salted caramel enchantment. These are the delectable cheesecakes that are on offer at Eikendal Vineyards as part of its brand new Cheesecake and Wine Pairing Experience – the first Stellenbosch wine estate to offer this.

CANAL WALK GAMING EXPO 2017

WINDHOEK OKTOBERFEST (20th – 22nd October 2017)

The Windhoek Oktoberfest in Cape Town is the perfect combination of excellent Namibian Beer, great German food, games, activities and world-class entertainment including the official band in the”Hacker-Festzelt” at the Octoberfest in Munich since 1994: the Kirchdorfer band

When: Friday, 6pm: (Over 18’s) Saturday, 12pm – late (family day) Sunday, 12pm – 6pm (Family Days)

Tickets: Saturday & Sunday: R140 online, R160 at the gate. (Kids under 12 free entry on Saturday and Sunday.) Friday will be sold per table of 8. There are 2 different packages on offer:

Platinum package R2 800 for 8 people: Includes a 1LT branded beer mug per person, a snack platter consisting of traditional meats, cheeses and breads on the tables and access to a waitron.

CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL KITE FESTIVAL – 28th Oct

Embrace your right to fly and have fun at the 23rd Cape Town International Kite Festival in Muizenberg on 28 & 29 October. Enjoy incredible kites, free workshops, food and live entertainment at Africa’s biggest kite festival, proudly flying in support of Cape Mental Health. SA COCKTAIL WEEK – 4th – 11th November 2017

SA Cocktail Week will be shaking up the Mother City with its annual summer festival. Enjoy some of the country’s most loved cocktail bars as they team up with leading spirit brands and award-winning mixologists to host a uniquely South African experience for the second year in a row.  Get your wrist band and explore a wide range of cocktail bars, bands, pop-up bars, great food and fun drinking activities.

PAUL RENE BUBBLY FESTIVAL – 4th November 2017

Arrive in style with a splash of pink and indulge in the beauty, simplicity and elegance at the home of Paul Rene in Robertson. Family and friends will experience the heart and soul of authentic handcrafted Paul Rene, with a glass of bubbly on arrival. Enjoy gin cocktails and cherries from festival partners Clemengold Gin and Cherry Time. Entertainment includes Arno Carstens. Kiddies activities will keep the young ones occupied.

REEVA RENAISSANCE RUNWAY – 25th November 2017

The Reeva Renaissance Runway, an afternoon high tea and fashion show, will honour abused women at a glamour-filled picnic aimed to raise funds for the Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation. Celebrities and guests will enjoy a fashion show featuring top local designers Craig Port, Jade Saunders, Lara Klawikowski and Bokang Lehabe. A Lourensford wine tasting station and a cash bar will be available.

Where: Lourensford Wine Estate, Somerset West

When: Saturday November 25, from 2.30pm-5.30pm
