EVERYONE needs something to look forward to as the dark clouds of winter roll over South African skies, that little ray of hope to get us through the indoor season in the Mother City. Earlier this year I commented on the fact that Ramfest was no longer a 3 day festival which means I’d have to wait even longer for weekend festival fun.
Thank goodness Rocking the Daisies has stepped up to the plate to give me some hope! Ok, I KNOW it’s still 5 months away but hey, who cares! When you have a fabulous social calendar then it’s nothing to stick a date in for a future party!
Each year Rocking the Daisies happens at Cloof Wine Estate near the West Coast town of Darling. Redbull provides the most epic electronic music tent along side the main stage which hosts some of South Africa’s biggest acts. This year RTD is happening from 4th – 7th of October and will open on THURSDAY night for those wanting to get into the action early!
Make the light at the end of the winter tunnel a reality by booking your tickets on Webtickets LIMITED early bird tickets are available for R400 otherwise they’re R520 online or R600 at the door with the prices decreasing as the weekend progresses. Sat & Sun R480 online R550 at gates, Sun R70 online & at gate. Cycling the Daisies for you mad peeps who wanna cycle out R350 and if you have a caravan or any massive vehicle then it’s an extra R100 to come in.
