Hey! Happy Sunday 🙂 This is a new smaller project of mine, Last Sundays. It’s where I show you all the cool stuff I found online that other clever people made. It may have inspired me, made me laugh or is just ridiculous. Maybe you’ve seen some of the things before, maybe not. Feel free to leave some of your thoughts in the comments below. Enjoy!
16 Personalities is a silly, but fun and also rather interesting, personality test that the girls and I did in the office recently. I found most of it to be quite accurate! As did they. Give it a go, it will take you about 10 minutes 🙂
One day I was watching Wife Swap, hanging out when King Curtis came on the tele and changed the game! Ever since I’ve been saying, “Bacon is good for me!” and even though hundreds of memes were made from it, many people have never seen the clip. Behold, the great, King Curtis:
SOMETHING TO CONSIDER
My friend posted this video on Facebook after her son died. He was about 52. We’ve all lost friends through complications with drugs. This video has stayed with me ever since.
Miley Cyrus & Ariana Grande – Don’t Dream It’s Over Cover
I found this on Twitter and was quite interested to see it as Don’t Dream It’s Over is a classic Crowded House song from the 90’s. I’m not particularly a fan (or a hater) of either of the girls but was interested to see. I wondered if Ariana’s voice would smash Miley’s voice as she’s such a powerhouse, but they really worked well together. Ariana doesn’t sound like she’s smoked a cigarette in her life, her voice is super pure. Weird animals on a blow up couch, very Miley.
Jack Parow – Never Growing Up
Jack Parow has just kicked July into top gear by releasing his minty fresh Never Gonna Grow Up featuring Riky Rick video, while on tour in Europe. Six years ago a skollie rapper from Bellville put out his self-titled debut album and shook the local music scene with his colourful raps and next-level tunes. The album struck gold within two weeks of its release and went platinum within a year. The break-out single Cooler as Ekke has since been watched over 3 million times on YouTube. The album also featured the first collaboration with Francois Van Coke on the popular Dans Dans Dans and the hit Tussen Staties featuring Die Heuwels Fantasties. The new video is a little bit quirky, I think we’re meant to see Jack Parow as a kid…also his line, “never took the time to be a kid back then, now I’m making up,” wonder what he means by that…I assume grew up too soon? That surprised me.
