While staying at the Vindoux Tree Houses in Tulbagh, I was spoilt with a morning of pampering at the onsite spa. Slightly quirky, fun and relaxing, I had a morning filled with relaxing treatments including a Jacuzzi bath, foot and hand massage and body massage.
Vindoux Spa Review
The Vindoux Spa is located opposed the reception area at the Vindoux House Guest Farm. They offer a number of treatments at really affordable prices, including massages and beauty treatments; view their Menu of Treatments and book for yourself or for a couples session.
I was able to visit the Vindoux Spa for a pamper session that started with a jacuzzi bath under a star lit ceiling! I’d never done anything like it so I thought it was quirky and fun! Glass of bubbly, Lindt chocolate and a bath before a massage, so funny and fun!
“…We aim to promote healing of the mind and body through natural therapies, tailor-made to suit your needs. With us you are not just another client, you are the focus of all our energy.”
I honestly felt this during my morning visit as the staff were polite and professional, with a focus on your comfort.
After my ‘bath’, I had a lovely back and neck massage followed by a foot treatment in their crystal room. My therapist was really lovely and did a good job. The spa treatment ended with a lovely cheese board on the front porch.
My session was only meant to be about 90 minutes, but I think it went to 2.5 hours! So when I found Mr John sitting on the grass outside I was thrown into panic stations again! We were late for our next adventure! Time LITERALLY melts away in this spa so be warned! 😀
Mr John joined me after my treatments where we were offered a glass of water as well as a cheese and fruit board. We had another arrangement for lunch in Stellenbosch so we weren’t able to savour it, however, it was a refreshing end to the day.
