Taylor Swift’s Saxophonist Is Performing in Cape Town

Weird, what you’ll find on the interwebs, but true! Chad Lefkowitz-Brown has toured the world as solo artist for Taylor Swift and with Arturo O’Farril, and is part of Grammy Award winning group Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra.

At just 29 years old, Lefkowitz-Brown has toured over 4 continues and appeared on the Super Bowl, Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall. With over 100 000 followers across his social media presence, the world is paying steady attention to the waves this Millennial is making.

This November he’ll be heading to the Mother City! Chad will be playing 3 gigs in the Mother City on the following dates, kicking off at the elegant Hazendal:

Hazendal – 20th November (Wednesday)

Backed by 3 of Cape Town’s top jazz musicians, namely Andrew Lilley (piano), Wesley Rustin (bass) and Jonno Sweetman (drums), Chad Lefkowitz-Brown will play on Wednesday evening at the elegant wine estate.

Casa Labia – 22nd November (Friday)

Backed by 3 of South Africa’s top jazz musicians, namely Andrew Lilley (piano), Mike Campbell (bass) and Kevin Gibson (drums), Chad Lefkowitz-Brown will play on Friday evening at the beautiful museum.
