Col Cacchio Celebrity Chef Series

I wasn’t too sure how people felt about Col Cacchio  so I asked my Facebook and WOAH! It exploded! It seems you guys are one bunch of hungry Col’Cacchio’s munchers! Last year I helped them promote their Chef Celebrity Series and this year they’ve giving you the lucky chance to WIN a voucher to enjoy the pizza.

JP DUMINY PIZZA

Jean Paul (JP) Duminy made his cricket Test debut, against Australia, in Perth in 2008 where he scored a half century (along with AB de Villiers). They earned a combined 111 runs to bring South Africa to the second highest successful run chase in Test history. Even better was his second Test in Melbourne, where he turned the game on its head with an innings of 166. The left-handed batsman and right-arm off break bowler plays domestic cricket for the Cape Cobras and captains the Delhi Daredevils.

JP enjoys exploring signature dishes from around the world and loves Jerk Chicken in the Caribbean. He lists chicken/lamb, bacon, feta, avocado and black olives as his favourite pizza toppings. Named as Sunday Times Chef of the Year 2011 (the youngest  ever winner)  and Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Concours National des Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs 2011 winner, Wynand van Rooyen is a firm believer in knowing the origin of all food and cooking hearty, authentic food. Born in Duiwelskloof, Wynand van Rooyen’s passion for food started at an early age on his grandparent’s farm. The early interaction with food has a great impact on how Wynand cooks.

His JAMMIN’ CHIPOTLE  –  R98 TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce infused tomato base, mozzarella, jerk chicken, feta, brinjal chutney, fresh coriander with toasted coconut flakes. Perfectly paired with a refreshing Coca-Cola.

WHY DO A CELEBRITY PIZZA SERIES?

Col’Cacchio pizzeria will be donating R5 from every Celebrity Chef Pizza sold to the Children’s Hospital Trust, fundraiser for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital and Paediatric Healthcare in the Western Cape.  All funds raised will be used to upgrade and expand the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
