HILLTOP LIVE has confirmed XooXity line up! Chase n Status, Rusko and DJ Fresh will be LIVE in Cape Town on May 1st 2014!
Brought to you by Oppikoppi company Hilltop Live, XooXity’s main event is in Johannesburg with a pre-party in Cape Town on May 1st. I am a bit bleak that Chase & Status is a DJ set but I know these artists charge around R100 000 A SET (before flights, transport, accommodation, etc.) So Cape Town better party hard & buy tickets ASAP to show that we’re worth visiting and maybe they’ll return with the whole group at a discount rate 😉
Blind Faith was one of my FAVOURITE songs (maybe even of all time?!) in 2011. Combining classic RnB vocals with UK Dubstep goodness, I love that combo. Chase & Status are actually reknown for the DnB songs as is DJ Fresh who was last in Cape Town a few years ago. I saw him at Fiction and all I kept thinking was, “Why won’t be play HYPERCAINE!!!” That’s another FAVOURITE track of mine!
Already the whinging has started that it’s on a Thursday (which means people have to get up for work on Friday) but I assume this will be a day time party which will be perfect on the public holiday. It’ll be held at the Zip Zap Circus under the Easter Boulevard in town. I can’t wait! P.S I’m filling in my Friday leave form as we speak and you can too!
