Park Life Festival presents KT Tunstall and Donavon Frankenreiter live in Cape Town! KT’s lyrics may be true, “You’re close enough to see that you’re on the Other side of the world to me!” BUT no longer! The singer is heading to South Africa in 2 weeks time. KT Tunstall will be sharing the bill with Donavon Frankenreiter and will be performing at Kirstenbosch.
Tunstall’s pop folk songs have had numerous successes on the South Africa airwaves with her songs, “Suddenly I See”, “Other Side of the World” and “Hold On” amongst others. She’s sold over 4 millions albums and has won an Ivor Novello and Brit Award.
Jack Johnson’s mate Donavon Frankenreiter will be bringing his brand of surf-indie music to South Africa to support Tunstall.

I'm so excited to see Donavon Frankenreiter. With a music often described visually as a beach bum riding a sea porpoise through atlantic ocean playing his pan-flute, this man's music has the ability to calm anything. Let's call him the "Universal Whisperer". By this I mean that he can literally calm a angry protest (maybe the solution for these service delivery protests these days), a group of raging Kamchatka brown bears, a wildebeast stampede, pretty much any form of raging creature…i'm even going to take it further and say this man can probably stop the South-Easter if he tries hard enough. He embodies the cure for stress, anxiety and depression. It will be amazing to see this man work his magic. Would love to see this oke play!
I can't wait for Parklife Cape town.
