So Uber has taken their transportation offerings to a completely crazy level! Yesterday I got the mail about UBERYacht: a totally crazy, fun, awesome activation that Uber will be providing this week. Check it out:
You can win a sunset cruise with Martin Garrix (yes…who will be playing this weekend at Ultra) and Oliver Helden (yes…who will ALSO be playing this weekend at Ultra!) and 3 friends around Granger Bay THIS Thursday afternoon. Enjoy music by Dean Fuel, Goldfish, Oliver Heldens AND Martin Garrix on the boat!
- 4:00pm – 4:30pm: Boarding of the Yacht
- 4:30pm – 5:00pm: Set Sail
- 5:00pm – 5:30pm: Dean FUEL DJ Set
- 5:30pm – 6:30pm: Goldfish DJ Set
- 6:30pm – 7:30pm: Oliver Heldens DJ Set
- 7:30pm – 8:30pm: Martin Garrix DJ Set
- 8:30pm – 9:00pm: Yacht returns to dock
Here’s how to make sure you get your butt on that boat!
- Log onto Uber (if you’re not already a member use my UBER code to sign up & get R90 off your 1st ride).
- Click on the little person in the top left corner of the app
- Click 3rd down on Promotions
- Enter the UBERYACHTSA promo code.
- Click APPLY (top right)
- Check that the Uber Yacht service is showing (Uber x – UberBlack – UberChopper – UberYacht)
THEN
- Starting at 4:00 PM, 12 February 2015, you will be able to request a spot for yourself and three friends on the UberYACHT … FOR FREE!
- Simply toggle over to the UberYACHT option and request a ride as you normally would.
- If you are one of the lucky first few to request, an UberBLACK vehicle will be sent to your location to collect you and 3 friends.
- You will then be taken to the UberYACHT, where you will be met by an Uber representative
- The UberYACHT will set sail at 4:30 PM and will arrive back to shore around 9 PM.
HOW CRAZY IS THAT?! So get onto Uber if you’re not already a subscriber, install UBERYACHT & you could be having the most ridiculously awesome time on Thursday afternoon! GOOD LUCK and EVEN I hope to see you there!
