Have you been following Fiance Knowles on Instagram? She’s a Cape Town embroidery artist who has been making waves in the new media art scene with her colourful embroidery works for the past few years.
Having been commissioned by Netflix, Drew Barrymore and Gucci, to name a few, Danielle Clough finally has her first REAL life art exhibition in Cape Town!
I popped in to take a look on the opening night and it’s a wonderful exhibition that allows visitors to get up close and personal with embroidery and string art as activations. With portraits being a strong focus of her work, enjoy seeing each stitch up close or enjoy a selfie with her giant pom pom wall.
The exhibit is FREE cause local is lekker. Find Highly Strung at 99 Loop street until the 18th January 2020.
