=======================================
You gotta love the people at Ramfest – yes I know they pissed off a lot of people by cancelling the 3 day festival in Cape Town, however, I still have respect for people to try to make Cape Town rad. Most audience members don’t even consider the costs of hosting international artists. From their expensive set fees, accommodation, perdium, flights from where ever in the world, all their meals, entertainment just for the artists, never mind the actual festival infrastructure, festivals are really expensive endeavours! PLUS festival goers don’t want to pay hundreds of rands for their tickets, it’s tricky.
So with keeping that in mind, as I was saying, you gotta love the people at Ramfest! They’re still putting up the good fight and as announced today, the new Electricity – EDM Event is on the horizon. This time they’re bringing out drum n bass legends Sigma and Logistics! Is it a 3 day festival? No! But good for them (what a mission)! So they’re doing a small country tour of 1 night only party gigs, YAY!
If you want in, then get your tickets at Ticketbreak for R100 to guarentee your place or R120 at the door. The events happen at The Assembly on August 31st in Cape Town, Stellenbosch on August 31st (yes the same night, that’s one hella party – why not go to both gigs!!!) and Johannesburg on September 1st! Who’s supporting these legends? None other than Cape Town’s finest HYPHEN!
