The Red Bull Studios in Cape Town have been instrumental in beefing out the alternative electronic music stages at various festivals around Cape Town. From Earthdance to Rocking the Daisies (Cape Town) to Oppikoppi in Northam, they’re contributing to alternative electronic music growing in South Africa. This year was no exception. I went to the Diplo gig at the Assembly and know how much an awesome environment can affect a party, so I’m super proud that an office from our city has made such a huge impact.
