Elgin invites you to the Elgin Cool Wine and Country Festival on May 3rd, 2014. The Elgin valley sits at the top of Sir Lowries Pass, on the N2, and is home to South Africa’s coolest wine growing region. This means great food and beautiful wines can be expected on the day.
The Elgin Cool Wine and Country Festival is open for wine tastings and mouth-watering luncheons. Sponsored by Nedbank and Orchard Suppliers, wine lovers and leisure seekers can enjoy the vast variety of wines in 3 different sessions: morning (9:30 – 11:30), lunch (11:30 – 14:30) and afternoon (14:30 – 17:00).
If you’d like to see what lunches are available so that you can book your seat (space is limited), visit the Elgin Wine Offerings map, click on the location and the lunch menu will pop up. Ring the restaurant to book your seat, alternatively, secure your pre-sold wine glass for just R50 per pass. The Elgin Cool Wine and Country festival is a great way to round off Autumn.
I have a set of tickets to give away. If you’d like to attend the festival, simply tag Boring Cape Town Chick in a Facebook status OR Follow BCTCBlog on Twitter and RETWEET. The winner will be announced on April 30th, 2014.
