Love to Doodle? Get Involved at 1000 Drawings!

After 35 doodle sessions, over 5000 doodles drawn by thousands of talented individuals from all corners of the globe, 1000 Drawings is here. Why? To pull off the city’s biggest art sale in order to raise funds for the Thomas Wildschutt Primary School in Retreat, Cape Town who desperately need to improve learning conditions for the children.

Tomorrow night, August 28th 2014, the 1000 Drawing exhibition and event will be held at the Good Hope Center to give YOU the opportunity to own one-of-a-kind, original artwork for just R100. Choose your doodle, mingle with other art lovers, enjoy a host of live musicians including Bateleur, Rus Nerwich, Sylvestre Kabassidi, Mr Sakitumi & The Grrrl, Fletcher, DJ Invizable and more, fill up on delicious food, and show off your artistic talent in live Doodle Battles or add your flair to the live painting wall!

With every ticket purchased, you will receive an envelope to take home any doodle that you pick out at the main event. Or buy as many doodles as you like, it’s for a good cause.
