Ramfest. Sigh. So many sing alongs, so many hangovers, so many amazing, amazing times. It truly was my favourite festival of the year (yes, Rocking the Daisies wasn’t always the kween it is today!) and I’m so happy to see they are back.
After a near 5 year hiatus, the brand is back and ready to bring rock back to the country for a 1 day festival. Having hosted bands such as Rise Against, As I Lay Dying, Bring me the Horizon, AWOL Nation, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Biffy Clyro, Camo & Krooked, Trivium, Foals & Netsky, to name a few, the festival has truly been missed on the local music scene.

Every festival goer knows that the sponsors determine the bar offerings. This year it’s Budweiser, El Jimador and Jack Daniels. I can live with that (had a few suitcases at Ramfest in my time!). Standard Bank is also on board.
Ramfest 2020 Details
- Where: Hillcrest Quarry
- When: Friday, the 13th March 2020 from 6pm – 1am.
- Why: Rock Festival
- What: No cooler boxes or food is allowed to be brought in as it’s a 1 day party and full services will be available within the event. No camping allowed.
