During lockdown I had cooked nearly 50 different dishes and I was TOTALLY bored of my own food! I asked Facebook what they thought and others thought I’d made quite a lot! So now I’m in two minds about whether I’m just adventurous or greedy.
It didn’t take me long to start looking up a few new ideas, but the truth is practically cooking definitely makes it easier to retain the information and experiment again.
Denise, from Ginger & Lime, is a well known local chef and cooking teacher who has created a new kitchen where budding cooks (like myself) can come along and learn a few more tips and tricks. The Kitchen Collective is located in the city bowl and has a number of classes to help you improve.
Having already been to Ginger & Lime for a cooking class (which is always loads of fun and the food is YUM!), I thought it would be a great time to call on Denise’s help for new food ideas and some inspiration.
Denise has kindly offered a dull cook (like me!) a voucher for a cooking class AND her new book worth over R1200!
