Computicket has confirmed rumours that South African (now living in the States) rock band Seether will in fact be rocking the Mother City this December. The only catch? It’s at a Bike Festival!
I’m sure a day out at a bike festival wrapping up with a live Seether concert will get many a bike lover’s excitement revving but if you’re anti-bike, like I am, then not so much.
Ok I admit that the “Masters of Dirt Extreme Motorcross Bike Show” does sound rad, but that’s only because I enjoy the X-Games. Why? Because it’s where bikes belong – off the roads.
So what to do? I’m sure checking out all the pretty bikes could be cool but really, it’s the music that unites us. So maybe just popping in for the show is the solution, but hardly the point of having them. Maybe I’ll hold out for another show at Kirstenbosch…Grand Arena maybe? Much more my style!
