It’s official! Lamb of God is touring South Africa in January 2013! Ramtouring is setting the tone for 2014 as a massive musical year as Lamb of God plays on January 24th 2014 at the Cape Town City Hall Auditorium. An awesome venue! I saw Massive Attack and Mode Selektor in Cape Town there and it ROCKS!
Dawid Fourie of RAM Touring says of the tour, “With only two dates available, we’ll be touring them to Cape Town and Johannesburg and we’re expecting that by playing those two cities, the maximum number of fans will get an opportunity to begin planning early for a trip to one of the larger centres.”
The Grammy nominated American metal band had planned to tour South Africa previously but unfortunately shortened their world tour with South Africa being one of the countries to miss out.
Tickets are available from Computicket for R450 for general and R550 for Golden Circle with RAM Touring proving all the festival regulars: big bars, food and medics – just in case the mosh pits gets a BIT too wild. Over 16’s only.
Opening bands for both performances include Mind Assault and The Drift.
