Our favourite downhill skateboarder, Decio Lourenco, is at it again but this time it’s art in another form. I personally think triggering a speed camera on Kloof Nek is artistic but local authorities were less than impressed when Lourenco rose to YouTube fame from the act.
This time he’s been employed in a Mercedes Benz video. The marketing material was filmed on a pass in Franschoek but it was legitimately close this time (he didn’t share the road with traffic as he did on Kloof Nek). I think he’s extremely talented and I’m happy to Mercedes Benz has had the foresight to use his talents in their film. Check it out:
