Last year more than 5000 people flicked to the Grand Parade to be part of South Africa’s first ever We Are One colour party. WE ARE ONE Colour Festival is back this weekend to celebrate colour, music, love and life!
This year they’ve themed the party as fairy-tale carnival (as chosen by the We Are One Facebook community) and still recommend dressing in white with a touch of fairy carnival magic!
We Are One have teamed up with MTV South Africa and Seed Experiences (Rocking the Daisies, Bastille, John Newman). This year’s line up includes international headliner, the legendary, Felix Da Housecat (U.S.A) and South African DJs Kanan K7(BRA), The Skenes, Dean FUEL, James Copeland, Tommy Gun, Plagiarhythm, Floyd Lavine and Mike Play.
Taking place on Human Right’s Day in South Africa on Friday 21 March at Cape Town’s Grand Parade, the WE ARE ONE Colour Festival will illuminate the city with brightly coloured powder to the lively beats of a top DJ lineup.
The coloured powder used exclusively at the WE ARE ONE Colour Festivals is imported from Germany and is environmentally friendly and comes in an assortment of the brightest and funkiest colours to brighten up everyone and anything at the festivals.
Place in the Sun is the official wine sponsor for the annual musical colour festival.
Early bird tickets are sold out already so get your WE ARE ONE tickets that include 5 bags of coloured powder to light up the sky or toss at your friends. The environmentally friendly and toxic free powder will also be sold separately on the day for R25.
