Shimmy Beach Club, Cape Town’s premier beach club, is hosting a London themed halloween party on Friday night. While some guests will be joining earlier in the evening for a spooky dinner, the club will open its doors at 9pm for a big halloween bash.
Think back to London in the 1800s: the start of the industrial revolution, St Paul’s Cathedral was completed, Tower of London held prisoners, Buckingham House was enlarged to a palace, Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper made their literary appearances and public hangings were a regular form of entertainment.
This creepy, fantasy filled evening will be accompanied by the sounds of SA DJs Sox, Gareth Kenward and Branny B with several theatrical characters keeping you entertained throughout the night. Come dressed in your 18th century Neo-Victorian attire and party the night away. The best dressed has the chance to win a helicopter ride, dinner at Shimmy and a night away at a nearby luxury hotel.
TO WIN:
To enjoy the pre-Halloween dinner, buy your tickets for R450 on Computicket. Alternatively, you could win entry to the after party. Enter via Facebook/Blog or Twitter by:

I murdered a LOT of prostitutes in 1888. I'm 140 years old and I really want to make a comeback at The Shimmy Beach Club. Sherlock you tell me who I am.
Always a Jack the Ripper type!
I'm definitely a Jack The Ripper type! By day I'm a bit of a good girl, so I may as well unleash a little fear this Halloween 🙂 I'd LOVE to win those tickets & head to Shimmy's All Hallows Eve party this Friday! This is definitely the only place to be this Halloween – fingers crossed Boring Cape Town Chick 🙂 #AllHallowsEve
Defiantly a Sherlock I love figuring out who the murder is
