NEW Savanna Bottle

beats by dreSavanna’s really been impressing me of late. It was never my initial first choice of cider, but I’m finding myself buying it more and more because I’m really enjoying their brand management. At Rocking the Daisies 2014 they had Savanna on tap and it was DELICIOUS! It’s the best cider pint in South Africa, at the moment, in my opinion.

They recently sent me some Savanna Dark for my birthday which I enjoyed tasting. While still a cider, it has a slightly beer like twist so for those who prefer the less sweet typically South African type cider, this should fill your void. It’s more of an English style cider that fills the savoury gap in the market.

IMG_6554When I got home on Tuesday night, Savanna had sent me a fun, new promotional package. Immediately I started shooting a Vine as it just lent itself to having fun. Mr Love had already ripped open the headphones and was practicing for his radio show that night, while enjoying the great sound.

Savanna have just launched their new bottle and it’s MUCH better. It seems like a funny thing to say, but their packaging did put me off in the past. The bottles were like beer dumpy bottles which, as a women, I didn’t really enjoy drinking from. Their new look is still very Savanna, but with a little more finesse. I can image holding these at a braai or on a club dancefloor, unlike the old bottle which I could actively choose not to have.

Savanna_NEW PACKThe taste is also great – same taste, new look. I think it’s entirely possible that my palate is maturing as I’m moving away from the sugary sweet alco-pops that so many women love in their younger drinking years. Read Bacardi Breezers.

Take a look out for the new Savanna bottle in store and give it a go. Do you think it’s improved? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please try it and come back and leave me a comment below with your thoughts.

Here’s the little Vine I made the other night. After all, Savanna know girls love a make over! And since it’s Friday, CHEERS TO YOU! Thanks for reading. 🙂 *clink*
