On the 16th of January the first ever About That Life music festival launches at Crow’s Nest. The About That Life crew will bring you the hottest local talent that will get your 2016 started right. With summer’s heatwave roasting us, why not give in and enjoy the good things in life; music, nature and fun! Apparently the Crow’s Nest is a hidden little gem with acres of lush trees and stunning views of Table Mountain. Expect a full bar service, cool, shady chill out spots, food stalls or bring your cozzie to swim in the nearby damn.

Kyle is a regular guest at Truth, one of the longest running and most respected clubs in the country, and has appeared at Ministry of Sound in London, Mission in Leeds, and more across the UK in cities such as Birmingham, Bristol and Halifax.
Musically trained from a young age, Kyle’s foundation has helped him forge a path through the Garage Band generation. Not afraid to step out of his comfort zone, his appreciation for each and every genre of music has given
Kyle his unique and eclectic sound – a sound that one would be hard pressed to find anywhere else – and it is because of this that he has secured himself a spot as one of South Africa’s most successful internationally acclaimed dance music producers.
Some of the best and most successful dance producers in the world – top charters like Pleasurekraft, Trickski, Audiojack, Shiba San, Dale Howard, and more – have been supporting Kyle’s music. It is because of this avid support that his music has been released on high profile record labels such as Get Physical, Gruuv and Ultra.
His sets are smooth and well balanced, and have evolved into a style of forward thinking house music that borrows from techno, deep house, garage, jacking and tech house.

Because being broke on you birthday is the worst thing in the world. I’m literally going to Dragon Room just to get a free bottle of vodka. I don’t even like Dragon Room.

Who doesn’t love a boogie on a beautiful day in the most beautiful city?! My stunner friend @ChaneSaunderson is leaving for Vietnam and this party is the PERFECT way to send her off with a bang. To the beats of Kyle Watson and YETI you could NOT ask for better. I have never liked the club vibe having four walls closing in on me and too many breathes on my face im a free spirit the more space i have to dance and be happy the better which is why these day parties are SO amazing. And why not support a new local upcoming event organisation that have made an effort to ensure their party is on the most amazing day at a picturesque venue! Nothing better than a happy crowd and good vibes in the beautiful place called Cape Town during the whole day. Spending the day outside jamming to my favourites is the only way I’d want to spend my Saturday.
