This weekend we managed to get our drum n bass party, Pressure, going again. It’s been a tough journey for our little effort to keep a European style club night going in Cape Town, as Mercury was shut and then reopened, but then renovated and then unavailable. It’s literally taken us 6 months to get back in the game. But the turnout last night was amazing and I had SUCH a jol with all my friends and LOVED the music! Of course Mr John played, followed by RudeOne (Science Frikshun/Pressure), Counterstrike (Animal Chin) and Multicrisis. It was SO much fun and so sad when the party had to end, what felt like, mid-party! But Mercury is working on getting their 4am license so I respect that they have to be strict.

Then we had Counterstrike & Multi-crisis who both kept the party pumping right up until 1:59am!

Then sadly on the way home we saw the huge fire on Devil’s Peak 🙁
