Look, this is the first time in TEN YEARS that I will NOT be attending Rocking the Daisies. Why? Well, year after year we support the scene because we believe in promoting our local music and festival culture. But now that I’m admitting I’m older than I seem, it’s time to have a break. The day festival has become a big attraction for us working full time so it’s time for me just live with the FOMO and stay home.
Speaking of day festivals, there are a few brands in Cape Town who do this really well. Brands like So Happy, Spilt Milk and Lighthouse. And of course, the weekend brands like CTEMF and Wolfkop Weekender are amazing. So when this mail popped into my inbox this morning, I was intrigued.
Ladies and gentlemen, there’s a new festival in town and it’s looking promising. But can a number of cool graphics really sell it? Not in my world. But can reputable brands? Hell yes.
In association with CTEMF, Wolfkop Weekender, Pop Bottles, Sexy Groovy Love and Diskotekah AND a “fabulous collaboration of a legendary UK Festival”, they’re proud to announce something completely different:
