Up the Creek 2018 Final Line Up

The annual Jägermeister presents Up The Creek riverside adventure is back! Three days of great music, swimming, dancing and partying! Bring your friends, pizza slice-lilos, swans and flamingos. Grab those designer sunglasses or your favourite cool-looking cheapies, your unicorn-love-coloured swimming towels and sunny hats; we are going to have a blast! And – good news is that you can extend your festival stay in 2018: gates will open at 11:00am on the Thursday and the music will start from 15:00.

Jägermeister presents Up the Creek 2018 festival director Caitlin Hanley says:

As a festival that only sells 2500 tickets each year, we are uniquely positioned to deliver a high-standard show with all the benefits of a small festival…This year’s  line-up is probably the most exciting we’ve planned since I joined the team in 2013. We have a real mix of genres, two fantastic headliners, plenty of favourites returning and a fresh collection of bands who will be performing at Up The Creek for the first time…A mention of thanks must go out to all of our sponsors for the 2018 festival, especially Jägermeister, our naming sponsor, who have made it possible for Fokofpolisiekar to return to our stage.”

Cashless Festival with Howler Loaded

At this year’s festival Howler Loaded, a cashless system, will be in use at all the bars and traders (food and craft). Festival attendees will load money onto their unique barcoded wristband to use throughout the weekend and can then cash-out any remaining funds the week after.

Live Comedy with Savanna Premium Cider

Savanna Premium Cider is coming back to the festival in a big way, supporting live comedy; fresh local acts; draught cider on tap at the main bar; DJs on their Late Night Stage; fantastic giveaways throughout the weekend, and more. Rumour has it they’re even hosting a Savanna style brunch on the Sunday morning.

Heartbreak Motel

While the festival is one of the few remaining that still allows you to camp next to your car (should you choose) there is also a greener campsite where no cars are allowed or you can book pre-pitched tented accommodation at www.heartbreakmotel.co.za
