Janet Jackson Hits Cape Town, Summer 2011

It seems South Africa really is creeping onto the international radar and why shouldn’t it? South Africa, and Cape Town in particular, has often been described as feeling ‘hardly part of Africa’, yet so many artist agencies still believe we’re living in the dark ages! I know our politicians are rather barbaric but culture is rich in South Africa and that includes the love of pop music!

I never thought Janet Jackson would ever return to South Africa, never mind internationally touring after the passing of her brother, however, she will be celebrating her 35 Number 1 hits by commencing her biggest World Tour to date where she tours 25 cities. Cape Town has been included on the tour route and Janet will be at the Grand Arena on Tuesday the 15th of November. Tickets start from Golden Circle at R950 to general at R350.
