VIDEO: For All Wild Capetonian Girls to Celebrate Women’s Day!! :)

Life’s a funny thing. Taking the train to Kalkbay is one of my favourite things to do in Cape Town. After visiting the Brass Bell recently, I took such a beautiful video out of the train window and decided to post it today (Monday) to help cheer Cape Town up from the winter slump. At the same time, Cape Town godfather bloggers My City By Night posted an awesome event about exactly that – taking the train to Kalkbay! Murphy’s Law.

Shortly afterwards, the event client approached me about posting the event as well. I declined out of respect of the MCBN crew because I did see the post first on their site, however, it’s such a cool party and I believe in the cause so much that I hope they won’t hate me too much for sharing it too.

I personally believe the more people there are in the streets, the safer our country will be. As a women, I wouldn’t take a train at night but August sees many brands celebrate Women’s Month so I think we should all jump on board! So with respect to the My City By Night crew, I’m sharing this event out of principle, not out of pure blogger I-can’t-find-any-topics-of-my-own loser-ness! This party looks awesome and I’m dead keen on jumping on board!
