After much excitement ElectricSA, the company who brought out Skrillex and Hardwell, has announced their international for NYE2014 in Cape Town. The #ElectricNYEBall 2014 headliner is Carl Cox! Legendary UK DJ and producer.
When the Hashtag #ElectricNYEBall started popping up in my newsfeed I knew it had to be a big announcement for word on the street to be spreading so quickly. Electric SA is one of the only indoor parties to host an international artist within the city bowl, held at the CTICC.
On a personal note, I am a touch disappointed just because Electric had been so innovative with their internationals, I was hoping for something a little more current like Nero, Chasing Status or the like. On the other hand, the event is at the CYICC so house is a good option for the general masses.
None the less, I’m sure the production will be as professional as ever. Here’s to 2013!

You say something more current like "chasing status"… Dont just copy and paste artists names into your blog. It will only make you seem cultured if you spell the name right… Chase & Status"
