MCQP was a really interesting experience last year as I’d never been to the event before. People who don’t like dressing up for house parties are REAL kill joys. As if life’s SO interesting that one’s too busy to dress up. This meant that MCQP was a total riot for me because EVERYONE dressed up and looked fabulous!
This year MCQP is on December 15th, NOT on Sunday night before the public holiday, actually on Saturday night but it’s not at the CTICC this year. 2012 sees MCQP launch at the Cape Town Stadium. I attended the Pink Ball at the stadium last year and it was a great success. With Lady Gaga having just come and gone it seems a fitting venue.
This year’s line up includes 8 dance floors, from drum n bass (Hyphen), psy-trance (Tune Raider), pop (Flash Republic) and performers including Derrik Barry, well known Britney Spears impersonator! This year’s theme is Fairytale Fantasy, an EASY theme! So all those dress up grinches out there, get over yourself and join the fun 😀
